Scheduler Usability

One of the features I am most interested in is the scheduler feature. So far it works as intended, generally speaking, but I noticed two usability issues that I was wondering if anyone else was having and hopefully could be changed.
My scheduler is set to only allow social media apps from 9pm on certain days. If however I have my internet browser open prior to and past 9pm and try to open a social media app in a new tab, it won't let me, i.e. the blocker continues to work.
The only way for the scheduler to work is if I close out of all tabs and effectively restart my browsing session. Then I can view the temporarily allowed apps online.
On the back end, when the scheduler is set to finish, if I keep a social media tab open, it seems I can continue to use it past the scheduled time it is supposed to be closed off.
Again the only way for the scheduler to kick back in is if I close all browser tabs and restart a new session (at which point the scheduler works as intended).
Might be pedantic but it'd be great if the scheduler worked on any existing open browser tab, rather than me having to close all tabs I am using and working on.
Particularly when the other tabs are work related, in progress and restarting getting back to where I was is hassle.

Jack Maher Sorry for the delayed response. You're running into one of the downsides of DNS-based blocking - caching. We can't solve for this on our end unfortunately.
We hope to release a browser extension in the future that would solve for this, but this is a work in progress.
