Block Youtube Shorts and homefeed
M
Mikkel
There is an extension called unhook that can block youtube shorts and has other features like removing the home feed. However it is not password protected so it is very easy to deactivate. It would be great if you guys could add this feature.
I really love the Techlockdown product its already helping me a ton, thank you so much.
Ben
Mikkel Thanks for the request and feedback! We are actually already working on this as part of the new filter: https://techlockdown.canny.io/feature-requests/p/filterv2

Blocklist generator should sync with account settings
Ben
The blocklist generator modifies the computer's hosts file with a list of websites to block. This acts as a fallback for blocking if dns filtering is circumvented somehow.
Currently this is a static list. It would be useful if this synced with the sites added to the user's filter Block List.

Provide alternate Filter route for unsupervised iOS devices
Ben
Some iOS devices cannot upload a mobile.config file unless they are supervised devices. Investigate alternative unmanaged options for connecting to Filtering in this case.
